Hi Martha...
Great blog! I totally agree that you need to choose a home business opportunity that is in tune with your passions. If you are not passionate about what you market, your leads will sense it every time.
Keep up the great writing!
Oh-almost forgot -- LOVE your pictures.

All the best,
Bob

Wow, a pretty great day you had.

And a very nice blog. Spruce it up a bit, change the template, and start adding value to your audience, and you'll be on your way to much more success.

Great Job, Keep it up.

Hi Martha,
Great to see your Blog and photos! I love the Father's Day story and hearing about your bike ride and just being present. I've been working on that too and it makes such a huge difference. Just being still and letting the chatter go. Nature helps me to get present....and know what is true.

Blessings,
Anne

Today I went on a bike ride up Castle Creek Road; it's about 11 miles uphill. I started at mile 4 to avoid traffic, although I found there wasn't much. What a glorious day! I'm not sure of the elevation gain but it is uphill most of the way. There are a few welcomed flats and a few places I can actually coast for a minute and take a breather. I started at about 8,000 feet and went to 9500. It was gorgeous! The temperature was 68 when I left Aspen, and 57 when I got back to my car 2 hours later. The sun dipped behind the ridge on half of the ride back which made it pretty chilly. Luckily I brought my fleece, my windbreaker and these long black legging things that you pull on each leg, and I was toasty coming down. One moment that really got my attention is when I went by a stand of trees, backlit by the sun, that was just sprouting these lime green leaves. Each leaf glistened, a whole mountainside of glistening baby leaves was spectacular. And then of course the snow-covered peaks at the end of the valley were breathtaking too.

As for what I learned today, to take a breath and just be present, really still inside so I could really enjoy my surroundings. To help me still my mind I say "I am" to myself. Sometimes I'm so present when I do that, and other times less so. It's a great practice that I'm doing a lot more of after reading Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth".

As for something related to my business and being an entrepreneur that I've learned, is that what's most important to me is who I become in the process of creating success for myself which includes my focus on giving back to others. Really it's tracking what brings me joy as that is a great guidepost for me and my growth as a person. Secondly, and as a result of my success in becoming a more aware and giving person, I am being rewarded in many ways, one of them being financially.

Tomorrow Aspen Mountain opens, believe it or not, for a weekend of skiing. We'll take the gondola up, ski on a number of intermediate runs at the top, have some Bar-B-Que
out on the deck enjoy being high up on the mountain, and I'll see many of my friends. It'll be a fun social day and it's June 14th and 15th! Wow! This is the latest the mountain has ever opened for a weekend. We had such a phenomenal snow year this year; there are still 3 feet of snow up there.

I hope your weekend is fantastic.

I welcome any comments.

Blessings,

Martha
